Retired now from her work as a Rehabilitation Counselor, Joan is a founding member of Animal Alliance of Greater Syracuse.  She has been actively involved for years in the rescue of animals alongside her daughter, Karen.

Along with her contributions as our founding secretary, Joan also takes the time to write letters of thanks to our supporters and donors as well as articles for our newsletters.
