The Animal Alliance of Greater Syracuse (AAGS), a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit,
is currently seeking new members to join our Board of Directors.
HOW YOU CAN HELP?
The next several years promise to be exciting for AAGS.
As we look to the future, we are looking for enterprising
board members to play a central role in implementing our mission to expand low-cost spay-neuter options in our community, as well as continuing to work with and grow existing programs of our organization.
The primary responsibility of board directors is to steer the
overall policy and direction of AAGS in accordance
with our mission and values. A big part of this work involves active engagement on one of our board committees such as:
Donor Correspondence, Social Media/Marketing, Fundraising,
Volunteer Team Growth, Board Development, Strategic Planning, etc....
As you consider this opportunity, please review the AAGS mission
and our programs. We are a working board and expect the board to be active and dynamic (positive in attitude and full of energy and new ideas.)
